ERGA

Privacy Policy

How Erga handles your data

Effective August 8, 2026  ·  Applies to the Erga iOS app  ·  Developer: Lucas Alexis  ·  See also the Terms of Service

01

The short version

Erga stores everything you enter — habits, to-dos, goals, categories — directly on your device. There is no company server behind this app, no account database, and nothing to breach, because nothing leaves your phone unless you specifically connect a Google account. If you delete the app, your data is gone with it.

02

Information you can choose to share

Erga works fully offline in Guest mode with no sign-in at all. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google — used only to show who's signed in inside the app. This is handled entirely by Google's own sign-in flow; Erga never sees or stores your Google password.

If you additionally turn on Calendar Mode, the app requests read-only access to your Google Calendar events and calendar list. That data is fetched directly from Google to your device to render your events on the timeline and, if you opt in per-event, to schedule a local reminder for it. It is never copied to a server we operate.

03

Google API data & Limited Use

Erga's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In practice: calendar data is used only to display your own events to you and to power reminders you personally enable. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never read by anyone other than you.

04

App Blocking & Screen Time

The optional App Blocking feature is built entirely on Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. Which apps you choose to block is represented by an opaque token Apple's system manages — Erga never learns the actual names of the apps you've selected. This happens entirely on-device; Apple's own privacy protections for Screen Time apply.

05

Notifications

Task alarms, nudges, and calendar reminders are scheduled as local notifications directly on your device. No push notification server is involved, and no notification content ever passes through infrastructure we operate.

What we don't do

Your choices

08

Children's privacy

Erga is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Google Sign-In and Calendar access both require the user to hold their own Google account, which is subject to Google's own age requirements.
