ERGA

Terms of Service

The agreement for using Erga

Effective August 8, 2026  ·  Applies to the Erga iOS app  ·  Developer: Lucas Alexis  ·  See also the Privacy Policy

01

Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Erga, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

02

What Erga is

Erga is a personal habit, to-do, and goal-tracking app for iOS. It stores your data on your own device, and optionally connects to your Google account for sign-in and, if you choose, read-only Google Calendar access. It's built and maintained by an individual developer, not a company with a support team or uptime guarantees.

03

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to use Erga. If you're under the age required in your country to do so, you should only use the app with a parent or guardian's involvement, particularly for the App Blocking feature (see Section 6).

04

Your account

You can use Erga entirely in Guest mode without any account. If you choose to sign in with Google, you're responsible for keeping that account secure — Erga relies on Google's own authentication and never stores your password.

05

License & acceptable use

You're granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Erga on your own devices for your own personal use. You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.

06

Third-party services

Erga integrates with services it doesn't control, each governed by their own terms:

07

Your content

The habits, to-dos, goals, and notes you create belong to you. Because they're stored locally, you're solely responsible for backing them up (e.g. via your device's own backup) — Erga does not maintain a copy anywhere else, and deleting the app deletes that data permanently.

08

No warranty

Erga is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available indefinitely.

09

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — Erga, including loss of data stored locally on your device.

10

Termination

You can stop using Erga at any time by deleting the app. We may discontinue or change the app at any time, since it's an independently maintained project rather than a commercially supported service.

11

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the effective date above will be updated. Continuing to use Erga after a change means you accept the revised terms.
